I Love JOOMLA - Content Management System and Web Application Framework.

What is JOOMLA? *Joomla! is a free, award winning, open source content management system written with PHP for publishing content on the world wide web and intranets using a MySQL database. Joomla! includes features such as page caching to improve performance, RSS feeds, printable versions of pages, news flashes, blogs, polls, website searching, and language internationalization.*

I think a lot of people out there already know what’s Joomla! Its a powerful CMS (Content Management System and Web Application Frame) and i’ve been using it since 2006. I don’t have someone to teach me how to use it because technically its easy to install and understands. I love Joomla because of its manageable menu. When i apply for a new domain name on December last year, i had no problem thinking what template should i use for my new website coz there’s Joomla waiting for me inside my cpanel :). The problem only when it comes to made a little tiny modifications. Apparently i’m not an expert webmaster.. hhahaha. But i enjoy adding some useful component and modules on my website that you can easily get and download it from the internet.. mostly from the Joomla enthusiast website..

At first i thought of doing a weblog using joomla, but i prefered wordpress because i wanted to explore and expose myself more on another web features. I think if you wanna try joomla for the first time, i suggest you better read a little more about it before you decide to move ahead with your plan.

My worst experience with Joomla is when i made a little mistake after trying to modify some ‘text’ that wouldn’t work.. and looking for a single mistakes took me nearly 4 hours to find out where my missing text was and i nearly wanted to reinstall the whole thing back. It was a big relief for me when i finally solved the problem. Not only human are sensitive, this php thing made by human and as sensitive as human as well. Just kidding! But, now i understand how it works although not 100%. Things can go better if you try and have more time understanding something or ’someone’. When you get to know them, you can get along ‘together’.
